FAQs
What if Healing Juniper Counseling Does Not Take My Insurance?
If Healing Juniper Counseling does not accept your insurance, you will be considered an out-of-network client. You may have the option to submit a superbill to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. However, coverage and reimbursement rates vary by plan, and Healing Juniper Counseling cannot guarantee reimbursement or be responsible for any issues related to out-of-network claims.
What insurance does Healing Juniper Counseling Accept?
Healing Juniper Counseling accepts Aetna insurance plans but does not accept Banner Aetna. If you have questions about your coverage, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly.
How long are sessions, and how often will I need them?
Sessions at Healing Juniper Counseling are 53 minutes long, which is considered a therapeutic hour. The frequency of sessions will be determined based on clinical recommendations made during your initial intake, ensuring that your treatment plan aligns with your specific needs and goals.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
Healing Juniper Counseling provides telehealth appointments only and does not offer in-person sessions. This allows for flexible and convenient access to care from the comfort of your own space.
How much do private pay sessions cost?
Healing Juniper Counseling offers a free 15-minute phone consultation. Intake sessions are $185, and individual counseling sessions are $160.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a $130 fee.
Do you write letters or fill out paperwork?
Healing Juniper Counseling does not fill out or provide paperwork for emotional support animals, short-term disability, long-term disability, or ADA accommodations. These requests are outside my scope of expertise and are best handled by a medical professional, such as a physician, who can assess and document medical needs appropriately.
